The Essential Kicks
There are 3 primary ways to kick a footbag: the toe kick, the inside kick, and the outside kick. You can also hit the footbag with your knee and head. There is no "right way" to kick a footbag, although there are some helpful ways to kick that make it easier to keep the footbag in play. Generally a good way to kick is with the inner side of your foot, known as an inside kick.
Play Style
Choosing the right footbag can be a lot of fun! However sometimes it can be difficult to know where to start, especially if you are new to the game and sport. We recommend exploring the differences of each fill type and adapt your play styles. Start with 3 different footbag types. This can be the base fill types (sand, plastic, or metal). There are 3 primary ways to select a footbag and a certain style of play: fill types, number of panels, and fill levels.
